What Critics and Concertgoers Have Said

Having attended numerous operas at Lincoln Center in the past, we set certain expectations prior to Ars Musica Chorale's performance of Operas Grand and Light, [but] we were not expecting our Lincoln Center experience to be so nearly replicated at the West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood.  The performance was flawless in every way!  Claudia Waite's performance of  "Leise, leise" was spectacular and Joseph McKee as Leporello from Don Giovanni was comically entertaining.  The quality of the performers and the conductor was really second to none, in the final analysis.  The venue also surprised us in its acoustics and, of course, we were thrilled with the convenient location!
