American singer actor Maureen O’Flynn’s 30 year career as a leading operatic soprano has taken her to the worlds most important opera houses: Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Royal Ópera House Covent Garden, Vienna Staatsoper, La Fenice, Houston Grand Ópera, and Chicago Lyric Opera, to name only a few. Regarded as one of the finest singing actors today, she has sung under the baton of, among others, Riccardo Muti, Placido Domingo, Marco Armiliato , and Maurizio Benini, portraying the title characters of Lucia, La Traviata, Manon, Gilda in Rigoletto, Mimi in La Bohème, and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro.
In addition to Opera, Ms O’Flynn has kept a busy concert schedule performing with the Israeli Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Milwaukee Symphony. On the theatrical stage, she has portrayed Guenevere in Camelot, Liza in My Fair Lady, Jennie in Company, and Desiree in A Little Night Music.
Ms. O’Flynn makes her home in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. In addition to performing, she teaches voice at Hartt School Of Music; she’s on the voice faculty of Artescenica Encuentro in Saltillo Mexico; the Master Instructor for the Opera de San Miguel Concurso; and maintains a private voice studio in the Berkshires with her husband, French Canadian-based baritone, Claude Corbeil.

International stage director, Mr. Verzatt maintains an active career directing opera, operetta, and musical theater throughout the United States, South America, and Europe. He has directed productions with the Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera, Florida Grand Opera, and the opera companies of Fort Worth, Lake George, Madison, Arizona, Toledo, Atlanta, Kansas City, Baltimore, Idaho, and Mississippi.
With over 30 years of experience as a teacher and coach for actors and singers, Marc Verzatt’s pupils have gone on to have careers in some of the world’s top institutions including the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, Vienna Staatsoper, LA Opera, San Francisco Opera, and numerous regional houses and theaters.
