Miriam’s love of choral music has kept her actively involved with choirs for more than 20 years. She loves singing in them, order hearing them perform, stuff and conducting them too! She has a B.A. in Music and Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University, where her studies focused on music cognition and music therapy. She also has a Masters in Cognition, Perception, and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. Miriam is thrilled to be taking on this behind-the-scenes role at the Chorale.
