[gn_frame align=”left”][/gn_frame]Will Berman, baritone, hails from Hastings-on-Hudson, NY and performs opera, oratorio, and art song extensively. Most recently he was seen as Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and Betto in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi at the Astoria Music Festival in Astoria, OR. This summer he also made his debut at the Lincoln Center Festival in the ensemble of Toshio Hosakawa’s Matsukaze in its American premiere. In the past, audiences have applauded Berman’s performances of Papageno in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Melisso in Handel’s Alcina. In 2012, he received the first place prize in the Advanced Lower Division of the New Jersey NATS Competition. Berman received his Master of Music degree from Westminster Choir College and his Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. He continues his studies with Sharon Sweet.
